Housing
Through our Community Housing Scholarship program, accommodations are available in local homes at no charge. Housing is awarded to scholarship applicants and to those who cannot afford the conference otherwise. A fee of $50 is charged.
If your budget allows for a hotel or motel, we urge you to pursue that alternative. (There are many lodging possibilities in St. Helena, as well as in nearby Napa and Calistoga.)
If you’re interested in community housing, please fill out the housing scholarship form (below) and return it to us as soon as possible. If you have not applied for a scholarship this year, please include complete information on your financial need. You can mail, fax, or email us your responses. The $50 fee is due June 1.
Community housing
These are typically single rooms in private homes, sometimes with a shared bath. Spaces in community housing are quite limited, and the more flexible you can be in your preferences, the easier we can place you.
Most community housing spots are in Napa, about 30 minutes from our St. Helena campus, but carpooling is easy, as many of the placements are close together or close to the main route, and we try to place those with cars near those without them.
Community hosts do not provide meals or transportation, but we offer breakfast and lunch on campus Monday through Thursday, as well as dinner Sunday and Thursday evenings. Computer and internet access will be available at our campus.
