Community
Community hosts
Many of our visiting participants are helped greatly by the opportunity to stay with local community hosts during the Conference. You need provide only a room and a friendly face; no meals or transportation help required. Please contact Lisa (lyanover@vom.com or 707-253-3335 x1487).
Volunteers
Every year we gather a team of talented volunteers to augment our small staff. Please contact Anne (967-2900 ext.1611; writecon@napavalley.edu) if you’d like to help out.
All volunteers and community hosts are invited to attend any of our readings and lectures at no charge (and have a chance to rub shoulders with famous authors).
Friends of the Conference
We are grateful for the support of these individuals and institutions; their donations make possible scholarships to bring students, and stipends to bring some of the best contemporary writers to the Napa Valley community.
In addition to bringing together developing writers and gifted faculty in our workshops, we are proud to host public readings and lectures at Napa Valley College and local wineries, where members of the entire Napa community gain the opportunity to hear and meet some of the best contemporary writers in America.
If you are interested in making a donation, please contact Anne Evans, Conference Director.
